H1b stamping experience

This forum has really helped me a lot so would like to share our experience

My hubby came for h1 stamping after he transferred as direct hire to US company.

I directly came in USA on f1 visa In 2015 and did COS in 2018.

Finger Printing: 13th March 8:30 am slot
Interview: 8:30 am slot reached half hour early for line up.

They took us in at 8:21 am by checking our passport and scanning them

We had a infant baby with us. Later there was security check area which took 15 mins or so
Later we were made to sit in a area which had shade. It was early morning so it was a pleasant weather. Later after 45 min wait we entered the building where interview were happening. I think the token system was not working that day so they were randomly sending everyone to different counters
We were standing in line for about half an hour where they were taking our left hand finger printing and passport scanning. Then we were standing in line for interview.

After 10 min wait we got the counter

We: Good Morning

VO: Good Morning, pass your passports please.

VO: is this your first h1?

Hubby: Answered

VO: Were you on f4 before, (I was confused) then he said h4, and then he changed and said f2.

ME: No, I was on F1

VO: he was like oh you were on f1

VO : asking my husband, what is your highest degree?

Hubby: Answered

VO: how many years of work experience?
Hubby: Answered

VO: What is your per annum salary?
Hubby: Answered

VO: Are you working in-house with your company?

Hubby: I am a FTE
VO: ok then your visas are approved you will receive an sms and email regarding PP pick up. These are the pamphlets about your rights. Please go through them.

WE: Thank you.

We left the counter and came out smiling.
