Firstly, thanx for posting your experiences which helps all those confused and curious like me.
I got my visa stammped at the Mumbai consulate yesterday. It was literaly a cake walk. But before that a very important information for all of you "VISA ISSUANCE OF RS 2400 HAS BEEN WAIVED OFF" no need to carry the draft any more.

Me: Good morning ma'm
VO: Good morning sir
Me: How you doing today ma'm
VO: am good
VO: Which company you gona work for in the US
ME: YYYY XX Inc
VO: What dose it do
ME: Software Development and Resourcing Services
VO: Which company do you work for right now
ME: YYYY X Pvt. LTD.
VO: What is the strength of the company
ME: 999 to 999
VO: Whats your profile going to be in the new company
ME: Programmer Analyst
VO: Allright sir, your visa has been apporved and you will get your passport in the next 3 days by courier.
ME: Thank you ma'm, it was pleasure talking to you.
Folks it all took place in a matter of 30 seconds, and to my surprize not even a single document was asked.... but remember they do there home work well... so you to go prepared...
