-Please refer to "items you can bring" on your appointment confirmation email, you are not allowed to carry mobile phones, cd/dvd, pen drives, sealed envelopes/official transcripts, bags into the embassy, there is no locker facility inside, if you need to store any of the above you will find a paid locker facility at the end of the street in a cafe.
-I took these documents - Passport, Appointment confirmation email printed, DS Forms confirmation page, I-797, ID card, Pay stubs, Latest W2 & tax returns, Client letter, Vendor letter, LCA, Masters degree (Please carry all the documents that support your job & stay in USA)
-Visa officer was a woman in her mid thirties & she was cool
-VO looked at my I-797 & asked who is my employer - I told her my employer's name & also my client's name
-Asked me my about current project, my role in my current project, my salary, my highest education, asked me give my finger prints & then she told me that my visa is approved. Entire interview was for 3 to 4 minutes.
-I have seen around 6 to 8 H1B visa's being approved when I was waiting in line. I did not see any rejections
-I hope my visa experience was helpful. Good luck.
