H1B, H4 Visa

This site immensely helped me to get to know about the questions being asked at the consulate and I thought its time for me give back.The interview went on smooth with very less number of questions

I booked a slot in Chennai. Now the processing goes for 2 days. On November 11th I gave my finger prints and my interview was scheduled on November 15th.

Interview:
VO: Can I have your passports and DS 160 forms sir?
me:Sure

VO:Who is your employer?
me: I work for YYYY XX

VO: Can I have your employer documents?
me: Gave LCA, I-129 petition, offer letter and other stuff

VO: How long have you been with them?
me: For YYYY months

VO: Who is the client and vendor?
me: Client is YYYY and Vendor is YYYY . Gave the client letter even
though he didn't ask for it

VO: How long have you been to US?
me: 6 years

Then he turned to my wife and asked
VO: How long have you been married mam?
Spouse: Newly wed a couple of weeks back.

VO: How do you know him?
Spouse: Some blah blah blah

Then he said your "VISA has been approved and you will receive your passports in 5 business days". Looked at my wife and said
"Enjoy America Mam"

We said thanks and departed.

I can say confidence is the key and take a deep breath before you appear before the window. Carry all the supporting documents. Provided with these I can say you will come out smiling from the embassy. Wish you guys all the luck.
