Hi All,
I'm sharing the experience of my spouse and son's H4 experience in Chennai consulate. They went on vacation and I'm here in the US. I opted for premium delivery since my home town is far from chennai.

Feb 20 - Biometrics
Feb 21- Consular interview
Questions asked:
1. Marriage date ?
2. Where is your husband ?
3. Where he is working ?
4. When did your husband came to India last time ?
5. What's your educational qualification?
Consular: Your visa is approved.
Note: No document asked. My spouse took my son along with her for both Biometrics and interview. It took less than 5 min for biometrics and shorter time for interview. They have been given preference because of kid.

02/20 - Your passport is still with the US Embassy/Consulate
02/21 - Your passport is still with the US Embassy/Consulate
02/22 - Passport has been received from the consular section, and is currently being processed for delivery
02/23- Passport has been received from the consular section, and is currently being processed for delivery
Even though the status didn't' changed in the site passport has been delivered on 02/24 at doorstep.
Paid Rs.500 per passport as delivery charge.
