Hi friends,
My name is neelima and I'm on H4 visa . We'r on 7th yr extension and in ignorance we din't know that along with my husbands H1 my H4 shud also be extended. We thought his VALID H1 is sufficient for me to stay hr but recently thru some friends we knew that I too need the H4 approval notice to be legally hr but by then my I-94 got expired and also my visa. Its been MORE THAN AYR THAT MY I-94 GOT EXPIRED AS I DIN'T LEAVE THE COUNTRY SINCE THEN AND MY STAMPED VISA IN PASSPORT GOT EXPIRED 3 MONTHS BACK. Our attorny called and said as i've been illegally hr since 3 months I maybe deported for 10 yrs is it true????? Is thr anyone who had the same experience and got the H4 extension??? pls guys someone help us ,we'r in lot of tension......
