H1B, H4 Visa

I am suren, workin in USA on H1B.In june 2006 my wife n kids went to chennai for H4 visa n got refused.In the year 2002 i applied for Temporary Business visa to Ausralia with my family as dependents got refused in 2003, because of bulk visa rejections, which were filed by our client in Australia. And in the year 2004 my passport got expired, n have taken new passport.the new passport hasnt have any refusal stamps.but my family has those stamps on their passports, which are quite new.
I havent mentioned anything abt my Australian Refusal during my US H1b visa interview. but at the time of my family H4 visa interview interview at chennai they raised the question of autralin refusal. my spouse couldn't convince them at that time and unfortunately we have lost that Australin refusal letter n old passport was with me in the US.
The VO insisted her abt her refusal, n said u lieing smomthing u dont wana tell.my explained everything but they weren't satified with her answers. The VO asked her to write everything on paper in Telugu itself. but, finally VO told her that I am gettin angry on you, bcoz u r lieing to me. she advised her to go after one year it will be good, bcoz ur husbands salary.But i am gettin the nice salary......refused; I couldnt understand their advise.
frens, really, i dont know what should I do with my problem. I am communicating with Australian Consulate abt my Refusal letter.
Again i am palnin to send my family for visa with my old passport copy.would u people kindly advise me, whatelse I can do abt my problem.
shall I and my spouse should write any Declaraton on Affidavit abt our genuiness. pls adivse me. The only thing I am going to Produce them is my old Passport with Australin Refusal stamp. Is this is a sufficient evidence?
