Let me thank this forum first for providing all the information for H4 visa.
My wife went to H4 visa stamping in Hyderabad on 18th Jan.. It was pretty simple, only two questions.. when did you get married and show me the payslips..
I did my masters in the US, worked on OPT and recently converted to H1B ( in oct). I was working in E-C model till Dec. and was aborsbed by my client in Dec.( So, a H1B transfer).. I have sent original I797 and a copy of my H1B petition and all other required documents through FedEx to India.
My 2 cents:
- Ask your wife to attend interview in a traditional attire. ( my wife went in sari, with decent jewellery and sindhur) just to give an impression that you are REALLY married..
- Wishing VO with a smile would be a perfect start.. Confident answers with a smiling face would do wonders!!
