Hello All.
This site has been so helpful and informative to me, so I figured I'd share my the little I have with everyone in process of becoming a citizen like myself. ??
-Application received on 4/28/15 (1 week after I mailed it)
-Money Order cashed on 4/30/15
-Fingerprints done on 5/20/15
My fingerprints appointment was scheduled for 11:00am, I got there at 10:30am and went right in. You have to show the appt letter, along with your Green Card and they give you a form to fill out (basic info). Then you stand on a line and wait to be called, someone reviews your info and stamp your appt letter and give you a # and you have a seat and wait, my # was called at 12:45?? And no cell phone is allowed in there (well it is, but you have to turn it off or put it away) so I was bored AF! Lol. It was a smooth process, other than the long wait.
So now I'm patiently waiting for my interview letter. ??
I will update, in case anyone is interested in any info.
***And for anyone wondering what picture is used on the Naturalization Certificate, it's the one taken at the biometric appointment. (They just used the one you sent with the application to confirm that it's the same person)
