Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hi guys, I am now very pissed by the USCIS. Mine PD is May 05, and it is been more than 110 days now, and I still did not receive my EAD card. I request status information online and later on I called the USCIS, and the representative helped me to expedite my case for financial lose. Last Thursday, I received an email stating that I need fax a letter from my employer, on company letterhead and signed by a company officer, stating that the company intends to terminate your employment. And I did that. But still my case is pending. I called the immigrant officer, and they just told me to wait.

I am currently working as student Visa and my EAD is going to expire next Tuesday. And they still tell me to wait. I am just so angry. Those government people never get things done.

Could someone tell me what else I can do? I read some posters saying they can call the congress man. Normally which one I should call? Will it helpful. I am in Detroit field. Thanks a lot.
