Adjustment of Status - I-485

My whole timeline was 1yr 4 mo ths some are faster but i had a criminal background thays y could t get approved at interview and also due to covid there is a background clearance backlogged. So at my interview it was on dec 2020.and my ead expired on march 2021 so i could of filled on december i was at a good tme but i didnt i waited to see outcome of interview which was handed a white paper. So i couldnt sleep for 2 months not knowing what to do or happen so i found out your fingerprints are in there system for only 15 months n mine would expire on feb 18 so on feb 2021 i filled my ead renewal c9 myself i did not pay look in youtube how to do it its not hard and send it out priority mail so after that. 2 weeks later they saw i needed a new ead. But since i sent them that white paper i got on i terview it just made them process my stuff faster and now im getting GC in this week of march before my ead expired remember you cant be without status here they know that. I could of renew my ead on december and my GC approval would prob still be sitting on someones desk till they saw mine but i did something different.
