Received my gc finally. Took 1 year for whole process.
Dumb question : if we loose or misplace 2 year green card while traveling outside country ... can we renter to USA ?
Advise to forum : this forum is amazing during the journey. My word of advise have as much evidence as possible... specially leases of houses, joint bank statement, joint utility bill importantly.
Be very proactive when yuh see delays .... don’t think too much about Gc ... get Ead first by expediting and show some hardships if you have .... don’t get upset if Ead expedites don’t work or declined. Reapply for Ead expedited even denied once as all immigration cares is the reason you are requesting for. You may end up with better people second time sometimes and keep trying till you get it ....if you play a waiting game then sometimes things will take ages ... so better try everything from your end than just waiting specially with crazy long immigration delays these days.
