Hello,

I had my interview today in Houston and just wanted to share my experience with you all.

Here is my timeline:

Interview Day...........Jan 09,2020
Interview Aproved....Jan 09,2020... Placed in line for Oath Ceremony

The whole interview experience was very smooth, the office staff was super nice and courteous.

My interview was scheduled at 8:45 am, I checked in at 8:05 am, got fingerprinted and sit in the waiting area to be called (as indicated at check in).

I was called at 8.30 am at one of the windows where the officer had me swear to tell the truth, asked for my Interview letter, GC and passport. The officer also asked for my social security card, which I didnt have with me but he said it was fine as long as I knew my SSN. The full interview took place at the same window.

After verifying my identity he started with the civics, reading and writing portion. Then he moved to the N 400 and verified all personal information, I had to add two trips that I made after submitting the application but that was easy, he already had the dates on his system. We went through the yes/no questions really quick and that was it!!
He congratulated me and told me that my application was recommended for approval :)
The whole interview took about 15-20 min. The officer was really kind, nice and polite.

My status changed immediately to "We placed you in line for your oath ceremony" and I have to wait now for it to be scheduled. I am so happy to be almost over.
