Lol I’m back again with an update.
PD: December 24 2018
EAD received: 9/23/19
Interview scheduled: October 11
Interview: November 18 (yesterday)
I485 Approved: November 18
Card in production: November 18.
I arrived at the houston office at gears Rd at 9am. My interview was scheduled
for 9.30am and we were called in at 9.45am. The immigration officer went straight to it and asked me and my wife several questions like how we met, my birthday and her birthday, our parents names and our city of birth. Names of our mutual friends and the things we like to do for fun. She asked for me and my wife’s educational background and work history and history of previous accommodations at their specific times. She kept going with the questions lol. I informed her I’ve had a speeding ticket that was dismissed in court and I also worked without authorisation.
After everything she said she will approve the case but will first ask her supervisor about my speeding ticket. After a while she comes back and says her supervisor said she should go ahead and approve the case. She then typed our approval letter and thanked us for being well organised with our paperwork. She took all our pictures lol about 30 pictures coz she says she likes them and took my wife’s health and life insurance policy from her job. I thank God for the process and I await my green card in my mailbox!!!! Gracias
