Hi there,
I’m currently a 10 year green card holder. I gained it 4 years ago through a previous marriage to a US citizen. I recently remarried and am planning on filing I-130 petition for my husband. My question is should I be filing now or should I wait until i’ve been a permanent resident for 5 years which will be around this time next year. And would there be any repercussions if I filled now? I’ll be eligible to file for citizenship at the end of 2019.
Please advise.
