Adjustment of Status - I-485

The USCIS received our I-485 by 10/16/17 and two weeks later my husband sent the I-765 my husband got his EAD card by 06/27/2017 and by 08/28/2017 we were ready to be scheduled for an interview and the interview was scheduled in 09/28/2017 we did it in Boston and yesterday it’s been exactly 90 days since our interview and still nothing we called many times and we did an infopass twice the first one the lady told us that our case has been opened just three days ago but if we want more info we should do an infopass at the same place we did our interview at so I booked one by 12/14/2017 and the lady told us I can not tell you why it’s taking a long time the officer who did your interview still has it and he’s not here right now I was I will send him an email and ask him about it on 12/25/2017 I did an online inquiry and I got an update that says
Inquiry about why your case is taking longer than our processing time, referral number S **** **** *SC, is currently not assigned for processing.
I have no clue what we should do I don’t know if they need more evidence or info they didn’t tell us anything and we both are so frustrated I am sorry that after all of this they would say we need more evidence and will take us longer time I wish if that’s what they needed they would have told us from the beginning
