Adjustment of Status - I-485

I-485 approval question
We filed I-130, I-485, I-765 in Feb 2019. Got RFE once in the Summer.
Had I-485 interview on 12/5/2019 and 10 mins after the interview, our status on USCIS tracker for I-485 changed to "New Card is being produced". Then the next day the status changed to "Case was approved'.
And few questions...
1. Is it normal that the approval comes after the new card is being produced notification?
2. Are they referring to the GC or EAD? We already got the EAD in Oct 2019.
3. If everything goes smooth, how long will it take approx to get the GC in hand?
