i 485 Interview while i 130 pending
Hi:
My wife is a Green Card holder who applied I 130 for me on 2016. My I 130 was not approved yet, still is on processing. In 2019, I applied for i 485. I 485 and I 130 got different case number.
I have checked my case status (i 485) which is saying that my interview was scheduled only for i 485, and will get a letter in mail.
I am confused on how USCIS will approve my i 485 before i 130 approval, as I did not get any update on i 130? Do USCIS combine i 130 and i 485?? Any body got any experience?
