I-485 New Card Ordered
I just checked my email and saw that USCIS sent me an update on my Form I-485, which says that “...we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSC...”
Getting this outcome has been no walk in the park. My wife—who is a US citizen—and I did at least 8 service requests, 3 congressional inquiries, and 1 inquiry with the USCIS Ombudsman. (The Ombudsman said they had contacted USCIS 2 days ago.) A couple weeks ago my wife also sent a letter to our local field office.
Until I receive the physical green card, I will know this dream really did come true.
