I-485 Outside Normal Processing Times
I attended my I-485 interview in August 2019. The interviewing officer said he would make a decision on my case in 120 days. We have done 7 case inquiries and 2 congressional inquiries since to no avail. A few days ago, my case went outside normal processing times and today I filed an inquiry with the USCIS Ombudsman, hoping for a quick resolution. This is the last step I take before likely filing a writ of mandamus against USCIS.
Have any of you dealt with the USCIS Ombudsman? If so, how was your experience?
