I-485 Santa Ana office processing Timeframe
Hello all,
Can anyone help to estimate how long it will take for scheduelling the interview and get the green card?
My case will be porcessed in the Sata Ana, CA office
My timeline is below:
8/3/2015- I-485 and travel document sent
9/21/2015- RFE -Petitioner doesn’t have enough income
11/11/2015- Combo EAD card received
12/1/2015- reply to the RFE- Found a joint sponsor
12/15/2015- Interview will be shceduled.
The website says that: As of December 15, 2015, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number YYYY YYYY , for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice.
Since our interview will be conduct in the Santa Ana,CA office, I checked the processing time online.
As show below, as of Oct 31 2015, the processingtime frame is March 31 2015.

1. Should I expect to get the interview notice around in March 2016---12/15/2015 +3 month? Or Sepetember 12/15/2015+ 9 month?
2. How long it will take to get the green card after the interview?
3. Do they allow me to visit my home country while waiting for the interview notice?
