Hello everyone,
I'm somewhat confused. Does anyone know if we need I-944?
I'm a citizen, filed I-130 & I-485 and all supporting documents for my husband in January 2020. Everything was accepted. We've had biometrics done in February. In the end of August I got email from the USCIS informing they are ready to schedule an interview. When I was preparing the papers for the green card, somehow I missed the I-944. My husband is here, in the USA, lives and works here for the last 7 years. He has work authorization, SSN, and he pays taxes. Do we need to get I-944 ready before the interview while we still have time or not?
