I finally got approved I’m so thankful for all of you here sharing your experiences and helping out!
Finally got the approval letter in the mail. Everywhere online it still shows Interview was cancelled but I had my interview two weeks ago in Houston.
PD 10/2019 Harlingen moved to Houston after they cancelled my first interview due to covid in April.
I130 approved the day after the interview.
I1485 approved a week later and today I got the approval letter!
My case was a bit harder for them because I had applied for asylum when I first came and closed administratively and when they closed it by accident they closed it as I was in removal proceedings which I wasn’t because I came legally etc.
At the interview the officer said she had to check all my files with the IC and her supervisor and it might take up to a year.
Thank God it only took her 2 weeks!
I got the conditional card though but it’s okay with me! My 2nd anniversary is this Saturday. So less than a week but it’s okay again!
I’m so grateful and happy I can finally breathe!!!!!!!!!!!!
When should I expect the card? As I mentioned both accounts are stuck online!
