Adjustment of Status - I-485

I'd like to share my experience with this long and boring process. I feel devasted, i filled on september 8, 2016 west palm beach, everything was okay until i decided to move out of state to louisiana, on april i received an interview notice in west palm beach office, wich is not my local office anymore, i changed my adress before i received the notice. Now iam waiting on my local office. On may i received a letter saying that i must allow 90 days to my local office to process my case, today 90 days has passed and i received another letter saying that i have to wait another 60 days, next month its going to be 1 year since i filled, my local office is in new orleans. I just want yall to know how a little change can turn all the process down . That was my little mistake. Now i have to renew my work permit wich expire in november. Really feel bad, me and my wife have plans to visit my country but what i can see that might not br posible. If anyone have any sujestion please i would appreciate it. I've been thinking to look for a lawyer.
