I485 interview
So am here again, my wife got denied for her green card while I was in jail last year April, we filed to reopen the case in June and all was taking longer that expected. I scheduled an info pass and went to them with her, they advised we file another petition. So here we did file another petition in Dallas TX in January 2016, we had our interview yesterday, and the lawyer too attended, the lady was good just few questions though it took much time. She first explained to me that my wife could not be aproved because I did not attend the first interview that was the reason for denial. So she went on to swear us in, and then went over our family questions and residents. She asked about my wife's employment, where she works now and where she works previously. My wife answered yes to two questions in her 485 so they asked her further questions. Those questions where based on her training with fire arm when she worked with state prison. So she explained in details. In my own part, she asked me how long I was release from prison, I made mistake and said over two years instead of a year, so she went over it again, not realizing my mistakes, my lawyer explained immediately to her about the prison term.she went on and at the end, said she is ok with everything. But we have a bulky paper which she needs to go over them. That she will get back to us within 120 days. So the lawyer gave her some new evidence like out tax for the precious years, account statement, auto insurance, and letters from both my mom my dad is late and sister, and letter from my wife's both parents and sister too. Lawyer said we did well, and that the lady is good, but looks like she is new so she may need supervisors approval. Nothing has changed. Update is that interview has been completed and case needs to be reviewed. We are hoping everything turns positive. My wife is already exhausted.
