Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hello Everyone, on 30th June we went to out I-485 interview at Fresno, CA office

My appointment time is at 1:30pm, We were there before 30mins, did the security check and told us to go to second floor and wait our name to be called. After sometime a officer came and she took us to a room and did oath and she told me that she want to split us and she sent me out and she interviewed my wife for an hour.

My wife said she was friendly and cool, she asked funny questions like who we live with, about my birthday, she went with each and every bank transaction and made my wife highlight the transactions, then she asked about trips we went and the officer took up to 5 photos and all bank transactions.

Then she called me and asked me about who I live with, about the trips we went with, what do I do, how did I met my wife, what year I met, what did we do in our first date, what’s the movie name we watched on our first date, what lunch you had, you watched movie first or did lunch first, what’s my university name, what’s my specialization in masters, she also asked about did I attended any other university, I said yes and she asked my about proof of that second school I attended I said I don’t have with my now but it is on my email, she said open my phone and show her, I said my phone is at my car, she sent me all the way to my car and made me to bring my phone and I showed her. Actually we have an attorney available on phone but I didn’t get a chance to tell the officer that we have an attorney and they have to call my attorney. She said why didn’t I tell her that we have an attorney and I said I didn’t get a chance to tell you because you sent me out in the beginning of the interview, she said her clerk came and gave her the letter which my attorney sent the fax, she is almost finished my interview by the time when she got the fax, but still she called my attorney and my attorney receptionist put the officer on hold for 15mins and the officer said it’s been long time they put me on hold and anyways I’m done with the the interview and just sign on the paper.

She said she is giving me Request for Evidence(She printed out the paper infrint of me instead of mailing to my home address) that I have to mail her my second school I-20 Copy along with that paper which she printed out in front of me and gave me. Most of the time she was writing the answers on the paper and typing something on the computer.

The total time of the interview she did 2:30-3:00 hours but most of the time she was on her computer. End of the interview she told me that as soon as I sent her the proof of my second school I-20 as soon as they make the decision, She again took some photos from the album, totally she took like 10 photos.

Immediately I went to nearest Fedex and printed out the document and sent the document to Fresno USCIS Office address she gave me, I did the express delivery and it delivered very next day at 12:00pm which is on July 1st.

I’m nervous what will happen and how long they will take to review my case and make decision.
