March 15, interview scheduled

No case states update since

I received the interview letter in the mail interview was scheduled for April 26,2022 Long Island New York

I showed up alone and brought all my medical s for how my husband did me horribly wrong and why we are no longer together. Though still married.

I brought joint documents
Medical reports
Pictures of bruises
Pictures of me in hospital
Medical reports from primary care and hospital
Medication print out from Walgreens

Print out of text messages he sent me holding a green card over my head and threatening me and my family.

and emails from his baby mother harassing me and admitting that my husband gave her my email to Harris me

A letter from landlord notarized telling what she witnessed before my husband disappeared and she had to evict him after she caught him beating me in person (normally she only heard from upstairs) . She wrote how he treated me etc.

I never called the cops once out of fear so I didn’t have a police report.

I’m a nurse and a nursing student and I brought originals of all my medical license.

The case was approved on the spot !!! No questions asked. I went there and plead my case told no lies and has a document to back up every thing.

Immigration officer told me to apply for citizenship and that they would live to have me as a citizen. I’ve been a green card holder since 2016 so it’s been 6 years.

My case status didn’t update as yet online. But it didn’t either when I got my first green card. I just got the card in the mail and the case status never updated again after that. Didn’t receive an approval letter the first time either.

I’ll come back to update once I have the card. I’m also now saving the 725 to apply for citizenship.
