I have a doubt! I am preparing for my N400.
I filled my petition I751 in 2017 and got approved in January 2019. I submitted the application , and supporting evidence by paper since there was no option to do it online back then.
I lost my I751 docs due to flooding, if I submit a FIOAPA request , will they be able to send me everything I submitted , including evidence , such as but not limited to Tax returns , photos , affidavits , lease agreements, etc.
The reason I ask is because I read that through the retention policy with USCIS and federal policy. They destroy your evidence due to retention policy. I wanted to know if anything knows about this topic , because I do not want to submit a FOIA since it takes a long time , if they will not have them.
What are you experiences and knowledge.
