Visitor Visa - B2

My m-i-l & f-i-l just got their visas in chennai consulate for 10 yrs through consulate appointment. God knows what the immigration officer in newark will write on the I-94 as to the expiration of visit. Point to note: you have to fill-in the DS-156 back-to-back on the same sheet of paper. I forgot and had to ask f-i-l to fill-in again in chennai at the last hour. Also dont rely on words from friends saying no appointments for next 3 months(or something like that). Visit the tts website every few days to check for availability of appointments. I fixed appointment for Saturday 09/13/03 on Monday 09/08/2003, they got got their visa-stamped passports back by courier on 09/15/03 to south tamilnadu.
