I found this website useful to help me prepare a checklist of documents needed for B2 (Visitor's visa) for my wife's parents.
I am in the US on a H1 visa and my wife is on a H4.
I have also been reading some of the experiences on this website and decided to post my experience so that it helps others.
My In-laws went for their visa interview at the Chennai consulate and their visa was approved yesterday.
The VO asked the following questions:
1. How many children do you have?
2. Which company does your son-in-law work for
3. What work does your daughter do? (Trick question ;-) but my In-Laws answered that she is a housewife.)
4. Do you have a own house in India?
No documents were checked or asked for. The visa interview was in Tamil.
