Adjustment of Status - I-485

I went to a infopass at Federal plaza, this morning following on my green card interview which was on September 25th. The lady at the front desk was nice. She showed me a paper that there are two additional files that must be reviewed by my officer and they have not done so yet that is why there is no decision on the green card interview. I was confused but she asked me if I had file other applications before. I said yes multiple times because I previously had TPS( temporary protected Status). I had to renew it multiple times and that was it. I don't know what that has to do with AOS application...sigh. Well I have nothing to hide

 I brought all copies of the I-130 approval notice, I-485 notice, and the interview copy notice. She made copies of them and said she is going to fax them to my IO. She also had me file a customer request form then said she was going to fax this form to my IO too so hopefully they can go over my file. Fingers crossed. Overall, I think it was a good experience, at least I know something extra now and why my case is pending. Try a infopass people if you are still waiting, you may learn something new.
