I tried to be added on to my spouses plan when we got married in June. But they told me I needed to have a Social Security number which I did not have at the time. Now that I am eligible for one,I called them again to make sure that I could be added on but they told me that since it's been more than 60 days since the marriage they cannot add me on to his plan. What can I do it immigration a qualifying life event?
