Interview
We arrived at 3:30, our interview was scheduled at 3:45 pm, I thought that at 4:00 we would finish because the office closes at 4:00 pm, what a dream lol, they sat us separately in the room, due to social distancing, then a very friendly officer came out at 4:00, she told my husband to come in first, because he is the petitioner she told him to bring all the necessary documents but your wife has to you wait for me outside, after 30 minutes the officer asked me to come in with them, I sat down, she told me I'm going to ask you everything about the I485 form, she literally asked me the whole form, then she took to I944 form , public charge, She ask me if I had requested any benefit from the government, and mentioned many things like health benefits, food benefits, sección 8, she reviewed one by one all my tax payment for the past three years, I also reviewed my credit history, our bank accounts, and asked me about debts, expenses, and my credit score, thankfully I'm fine with everything , she asked me why you're not working? I answered I lose my job due to COVID, they call me back but we decided stay better at home, because the environment in that place where I was working was not safe about the virus, but I’m helping my husband on his company, she said I want to ask more questions, I thought seriously more questions? the following questions:dates of birth of both, how much we paid for rent, how long does my husband own his company? how was the apartment where we lived? Do you have family in the USA? the addresses and dates of the places where have been you lived for the last five years? the truth, I was wrong in a couple questions but my husband corrected me and she was fine with that, she asked me more questions but I really don’t not remember it, despite the nerves and anxiety, the officer always made us feel very comfortable, respected and listened, she was very professional and polite, then she said I see everything very well, she told me if you have doubts about your case you can call me, but I don't think it's necessary because I'm going to approve your case, right now, it gave us a lot of happiness, we were done at 4:50, 2 minutes after interview, new update a new card is being produced, and today they approve -I130 I485
Sorry guys I’m not the best writing English, but I’m doing my best.
