Interview - done
My appointment was at 2.10 pm at the Oakland CIS.
The 12th St. BART station is very convenient - just 2 blocks from the CIS office.
I arrived at the office at 1.45 pm and waited till 2.45 pm for my interview.
The interview itself took 10 mins - very simple. The officer verified the information on my form by asking me questions. Then he asked me 10 questions from the Civics book, which I answered correctly, and then he told me that I could take the Oath ceremony at the end of the month (22 days from my interview date).
But, I cannot take the oath on that date, so I requested him to schedule it 4 months later. He was not too happy about that - but he said he is going to try. Let us see what happens. I am keeping my fingers crossed. :)
