Interview Done
Applied for I-130 concurrent with 485 2017 and got denied 2020….It was stated on the denial notice I should file form I-290B if I think the reason for denial was not acceptable. I did and it got denied after one month and they stated I should have appealed and not motion to reopen. I wrote letter to USCIS with the denial letter were they clearly instructed me to file I-290B. Immediately I reapplied for I-130 concurrent with 485 again.
Two months later USCIS send a mail they have reopened the I-290B also reissued another denial along with it and I must filed appeal or they will close the case. Since I am doing all this by myself I sent them the appeal after all I have nothing to loose. They kept quiet since 2020.
November 3 2021, they sent us interview notice slated for Dec 3. The interview was more like the first one but more questions. After the interview officer told us he can’t make a decision because of our previous case that is pending and we should give him 60 days to make a decision.
Jan 20, 2022 I did case inquiry for the I-290B and this was the mail I received from USCIS today:
What We Have Done
USCIS has reviewed and approved your application. According to USCIS records, an approval notice has been mailed to the address currently on file
What You Can Do
If you would like to request a duplicate copy of the approval notice, please file a Form I-824 (Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition), along with the applicable filing fee and your original signature. Please include your Receipt Number on Part 3 of Form I-824.
I check online my case still showing Interview was completed and your case must be reviewed.
