Wanted to share my timeline.
PD December 15,2016 - Baltimore Filed Office
Biometrics done January 19, 2017
EAD Received March 22, 2017
Interview Notice June 20, 2017
Interview Done July 26, 2017
Me and my husband got there very early, appt time is 9:30, were called in at 9:45. The officer never smiled, he was straight to the point. Asked basic questions:
From the husband:
How did we meet?
When is my birthday?
Where I was born?
Have he met my family?
From me:
When is his birthday
have I met his parents
Where he was born
What kind of visa I had and all the questions about it
The list of evidences we had
New and old lease agreement
Ring Receipt
Emails between me and his sister mostly
200 pictures
All the insurance
Phone Records - both of our numbers under his name
We sworned in, and he started with the basic questions. and with the My husband messed up the year I was born, but the rest was ok, he asked me yes or no questions.
He kept the new and old lease agreement, phone records, all the insurance, 7-8 pictures ( he didn't even look at the album, told us to give him the pics of our choice) and asked about the people on the picture. He didn't even ask about the gonorrhea test, I had it done last year in November. At the end of the interview, he said the case is under review and it might take up to 120 days. Gave the paper that says its under review. The same day around 4pm my status changed to new card is being produced, I'm hoping that is the approval for green card. Thanking God every step of the way and wishing luck to everybody.
My advice is stay organized and bring everything and just be honest. If you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer.
