Hello, We had our interview I485 yesterday morning on Friday Jul 24, 2020 in West Palm Beach USCIS Office.
It was a really good experience. Our appointment was at 10:15am and we arrived at 9:55am. We enter 5 min later to the building.
After crossing the building door, there was an officer asking for Interview Notice to check our interview appointment, and Passport documents.
After that, we take out our belts, earrings, shoes, pocket content, etc... to walk by something that seem to be a metal detector.
After that, we put on everything again and talk with an agent who asked us for Interview Notice again. He checked and gave us a Ticket Number for our turn.
After that, we walked into waiting room where chairs were organized to keep distance between one person and another because of COVI.
We don't see many people there, we were only 4 or 5 people there.
After wait there, was finally our turn to go into interview room.
First, we stand up for oath to tell the truth,
later, we took a seat and the person asked us for interview notice, passport, EAD, Photos (we gave many of them, they like it), our current rental lease where appear our both names, joint stuff and translated documents (apartment, bank accounts), (I don't remember what else),
Things that I think they were interested in and could help our case: We gave them a bank transaction report of last 12 months and current balance. The pictures too, because spend time on them and asking us questions about them too (study the pictures to have something to say when they ask you about them. That helps.).
Things that they didn't ask us: the other NOAs, form copies (I130, I485, I765, etc), marriage certification (we already had sent it, but we bring it to the interview just in case),
The person was nice and friendly. the person ask us about how we met, time of dating, who propose marriage, when was it, time to get married, work address, and more...
In the end, the person only told us that we are going to receive a response in a week.
We spent a lot of time in the waiting room that I don't remember how long was the interview when our turn came on.
