Interview Experience - Louisville, KY
My husband (petitioner) and I (beneficiary) had the interview today at 1:30 in Louisville, KY. We entered the building at 1:10 and checked in. We went to the 6th floor for the interview. The officer called in my husband first. He was the same officer who interviewed my husband for his citizenship earlier this year. He asked me to keep the folder and the photo album we had Since I know better what is inside it. My husband was interviewed for almost 20-25 minutes. The officer wrote out his answers and checked with me later.
When I was called, I first sanitized my hands in front of the officer (seriously!) then sweared to tell the truth. He started with my basic info, address, Yes/No questions. After that he asked the same questions that he asked my husband:
1- How did you meet?
2- Who proposed? When and where?
3- Did he give you a ring? Explain it.
4- When was your marriage? Did you have any reception? Did you go to honeymoon?
5- Who were with you in the ceremony? Name them.
6- What did you have for breakfast today? (We answered a protein shake) The he asked what you put in your shake :D
7- Where do you and your husband work? How much do you earn?
8- Do you live in a house or apartment? How many beds and bathes? What color is the inside walls?
9- Have you had friends at your place? Name them.
10- Do you have any pet? What is his name?
11- Why did you get married?
12- What do you do for fun?

He then asked me for the joint documents. He said gave me whatever has both of your names on it. I gave him the latest lease, insurances (car, renter, dental), electricity bills.
Very last moment I checked the table of contents I had and gave him the 2019 tax return transcript (married filing jointly) with W-2s.
I had a photo album with me, almost 70 photos. He asked for 5 more recent pics. He said since you already sent the photos with your application, 5 is enough.
At the end, he did not give us any paper. He just said that if we need more docs from you we will contact you, otherwise you will receive the green card. Wait 4 to 5 months for the outcome! I hope it doesn't take that long.
The whole interview took an hour. The status still shows “Interview Was Scheduled”.
