Preparation for Interview:
I prepared three binders:
-Binder one had all original documents plus a copy of: our birth certificates, social security numbers, passports, marriage certificate, taxes, employee ID cards and insurance cards, and credit cards and a copy of our business cards (I also included a copy of our old business cards because we moved and changed jobs

-Binder two had: Pictures, Cell Phone Records, and Flight Itineraries. I separated the binder into years and the years into months. Each month had a picture of us, and each picture was titled with the date and location. Because we had a long distance relationship, I also included my cell phone records and highlighted his cellphone number. I also included our flight itineraries to showcase how often we saw each other

-Binder Three: this had all other support: health insurance, credit cards and credit card statements, costco card statements, bank statements, apartment lease, life insurance, utility bills and our car insurance statements.

INTERVIEW:
Our interviewing officer was curt, he wasn't rude, but he didn't make small talk. He had a very thick accent too. The total interview took about 20 minutes. We were interviewed together. Before we sat down, he administered the oath. He then asked to take my index fingerprints and took my picture (or eye scan, I'm not sure, he had me state into a camera lens looking thing). I gave him our upated G325 questions and 2016 taxes.

He asked for copies of our passport, ID's, and birth certificates. He asked us each our G325 questions and then asked me all the Yes/No answers from the I485. He asked me about my last entry to the US, what port of entry, what date and with what permission (I had advanced parole).

He then asked us following questions:
-When did you meet?
-How did you meet?
-Tell me how your relationship develop?
-When did you know it was serious?
-When did you get married?
-Where did you get married?
-Have you met each other's parents?
-When did you meet them?
-What do your parents think of him/her?
-Where do you work?
-Where do you live?
-Do you have kids?
-Have you ever been married?

Then he asked me for my medical and after a minute of silence he said, "I'm going to approve your application, but my system is down. You will receive a formal letter in the mail and your card in about 3 weeks. Your residency is conditional for two years." Then he escorted us out.

He NEVER asked to see my original marriage certificate and didn't even bother to look at my two binders that took me so long to put together. The process is now over for me and I wish you all the best of luck.
