Interview Los Angeles
Green card baased on marriage with usc
PD 06/29/2019
The whole process was very fast.
ER for EAD on 08/20/19
RFE 08/27/19 asking Birth Certificate , i!30A and AGAIN all documents from my joint sponsor. I've sent everything before! They missed it!
09/26/2019 Interview Schedule for 10/28/2019
I got my EAD on 10/01/2019 but no SSN .. I couldnt be hire in many places I've got a job offer. They want the SSN which came later on the day of the interview,.
My interview was nightmare!! I moved from CT at the beginning of August could get my Driver License (DOnly) transferred because They asked for 2 proofs of identity. I only had the Brazilian passaport. So I decide to wait for my green card as the interview was close.
I couldnt get internet or eletricity in both names, mine and my husband. I had my leasing and the rent insurance in our both names. He was very tough very rude at the beginning!!! My interview lasted 2 hours and a half!!!!! I think he got some wrong information and he thought I was a criminal, like I've been to jail and he asked for 3 times during the interview is I have been arrested!! Including like : " are you sure?" And I was sure, of course! The last time he asked me that he asked me also if I knew someone named " Esther Smith" with I said no and then I think that realized it was a mistake and he sair: " I'm sorry this someone's else"
He ddint look at any pictures or cards pr emails or letter NOTHING. He said we could be posing for pictures, getting clothes changed and everything could be made up! Horrible, He gave us back almost everything I've sent to start the process. Our pictures he said there was no meaning ! There wasnt location only the two of us. We were blessed when he said that I wouldn't be deported if I had anything that could ba a real proof, and mentioned 5 items:
=Driver license from Ca
- Matching tatoos
-Kids together
-Buying a house together
-Pet with VET insurance in our both names!

Then he said " if you at least had a house key to compare , that would change your situation!! For God's sake we did have it!!!
Finally we saw a light at the end of the tunnel and I start to believe that I wouldnt be deported!!!
He became nicer and then we started talking he got in a better mood, he and my husband had the same " dream" and than after this nightmare he approved us on spot!
Thank God I'm free I never went to any thing worse than that!!!
Good luck my friends , be careful we never know what to expect!
Follow the 6 items !!
