Interview NY
PD May 05, 2016
Interview was done March 6, 2017
Got called in about one and half after my interview time. First we were sworn in then she asked us how me met and my husband the petitioner answered. She asked when we got married then said that was fast but she did not elaborate any further. She asked my husband about his previous marriage then asked us for photos. She then asked us to choose two photos to put in our file. She then asked for bank statements and my lawyer handed her all the joint documents we had. She said this is a lot and it can't hold in the file so she went through the documents and took the ones she wanted. She did not ask anymore questions. She then told me that I will get a conditional green card because the marriage is less than 2 years then she told me what form to use to apply for the permanent card and when to apply for it. She then told me that after the permanent I can apply for my citizenship and some of the thingsto expect on the test. Overall the experience was good and I'm hoping to here something positive soon.

Thanks to everyone on this site for sharing your experiences, I hope mine will be of help to someone. To everyone who is waiting for there interview, it's super important to be prepared.
