Adjustment of Status - I-485

Guys, we all know thaf most of us who have been waiting for several months or years had their interviews cancelled due to covid-19. We have been expecting interview scheduling for almost a month now.
I heard about someone today that their interview was scheduled, and surprisingly it was the first interview scheduling, not a cancelled interview rescheduling (marriage based usc).
I’m happy for fhat person, but at the same time, really feel thaf after so much long waiting, we should get priority. I have no idea why and how come uscis just ignore and bypass those whose interviews were cancelled. For some reason, they are mostly entertaining those who have their cases through usc sponsorship. My case is through LPR, should I just expect a life long delay because my spouse is not USC? I already waited for two and half fuiiiing years man! I don’t know how long should we be punished for that. This is soo frustrating.
