Hi all,
I received a text message this morning saying that my I-485 case was updated. I confirmed on the egov.uscis.gov/casestatus website that:
INTERVIEW WAS SCHEDULED.
On October 9, 2018, we scheduled an interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number (MY CASE NUMBER). We will mail you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
A few questions:
* does this mean that I will receive a mail soon with my interview schedule? I ask because the email said "If your case status indicates that you are currently in this step, you have either been scheduled for an interview or are in line to be scheduled for an interview. The amount of time your application will remain in this step will vary by office and is largely determined by the number of cases ahead of yours."
* approximately when will my interview be scheduled on?
* what do I prepare?
