Interview scheduled for AOS!
Hi guys this morning I received a text and email stating that my interview was scheduled for my adjustment of status.
Here is my time line (it’s going fast so far :) has anyone had this experience?)
PD for Adjustment of status, new EAD with AP (combo card) (through Lawyer) : USCIS received on 9-8-2027
Biometrics done 9-25-2017
11-2-2017 received text and e-mail from USCIS interview scheduled for 12-8-2017
I’m filing adjustment of status through my US Citizen wife. I’m from Washington State and my nearest field office is Yakima, WA.
I have some questions. Should I be receiving my new EAD soon? The case status for that still says they are working on it and no new status.
Second question, once done with the interview how long until I receive my permanent residence card? I’ve read of people that have been approved on the spot and received their card within the week. If I were to be approved on the spot it would be the best Christmas gift EVER!! What really worries me is not having my new EAD yet. It expires 11-12-2017 and my seasonal job ends 11-30-2017 I need to work to support my family.
