Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hello beautiful people and fellow green card applicants!I'm an immigrant from Belgium who came on a visa waiver after almost years of long distance relationship with my husband that I met while I was here in college. This website has helped me tremendously with my process. I applied from New York City ( I live in Harlem) and I thought I would share my timeline with you. I sent the whole package through a lawyer on May 1st. My priority date is May 5th. I did my biometrics on June 3rd and received my EAD with advanced parole on July 25th. Me and my husband flew to Belgium in August to celebrate my 24th birthday with my friends and family, and I started graduate school in September when we came back. Since July 5th my case was ready to be scheduled, and by looking at a UCIS app that I just added on my phone, I saw that as of November 15th, my interview had been scheduled for December 22nd and that I should receive the notice by December 15th. It was quite a long wait since May, but for an NYC timeline, it is not bad at all and I am not complaining! Hope this helps my fellow New Yorkers that have filed between April and June to have an idea of when their interview should be.
