Is this normal?
Hi guys,

I keep seeing people share here that your status online changed after you had your bio-metrics appointment. I saw some people say they had "fingerprints complete" or "biometrics review completed" but for me, my online case status has never changed!

It has been saying "my case was received" since the day I got the receipt notice.

I got my biometric notice on 12\21\18 and had my appointment completed on 01\22 (original date was 1\9 but they refused to take me in because I had stitches on my arm) and today is 2 months later, and my case online still says the same... "case received" My lawyer says there is nothing we can do, just wait.
Despite not getting the medical exam notice yet, I had the exam done and completed on 2\20 (per my lawyer recommendation) and I have the sealed envelope on my hands ever since.
I asked my lawyer again today if there is anyway to know when I will get my EAD\AP or my interview, and he said current timeline for our office is 4-6 months.

My PD was 12\14\18 . Exactly 14 weeks ago.

Now I am worried. Is it possible that something was wrong with my biometrics and they didnt say anything? otherwise how is it possible that some people are getting status updates and mine still says nothing after so long?

Would love any advice.
Thanks!
