Is US naturalization certificate required for OCI?
I have applied for a new OCI card for my son 2 days ago and got an email from VFS today asking for copy of both parents naturalization certificate. I have included copies of both parents US Passport and OCI card (we got OCI card almost 10 years ago). Unfortunately we don’t have the naturalization certificate because it not returned by US Passport authority when we originally applied for US passports.
Does anyone know if parent’s US naturalization certificate is required in addition to US passport when applying for OCI?
