My timeline:

Not a GC application, seems these are a little faster, and biometrics or interview required.

10/13 application sent
10/18 application received
10/20 notification the application was received (by email)
11/15 First SR, based on job offer, refused because of lack of evidence after a few hours
11/21 Second SR also based on job offer, also refused
11/24 Contacted congressman by email, no answer
12/4 Called congressman, sent over documentation
12/14 Congressman submitted evidence to USCIS
12/15 Notice from USCIS that SR was accepted and my case was transferred to an officer.
12/19 EAD approved, and card being produced
12/22 Card sent
12/27 Card arrived! Finally!

This has taken what feels like forever, I started working on this in April, it took many steps prior to the EAD application.. Kept my job offer and starting to work in a few days!
