Hi guys,
I have two pretty basic questions that I was hoping you could help me with. I'm filing my J-2 EAD renewal next week, exactly 180 days before the expiration date of my current EAD. I have been lurking here for a while because I'm worried that I'll have a gap in my employment, but I'm still not sure what a "priority date" (PD) is? Is it the day that USCIS gets the documents, (so that would be the day after I send them, if I use overnight delivery), or when they start looking at the application? Does having to send the file to a lockbox change this? Also, what delivery service did you guys use to send your application? I was thinking Priority Mail Express with USPS, but should I do FedEx instead?
