Late EAD Approval
Hello everyone.
I am waiting to get my EAD in frustration to start the job I am offered with a start date of April 18th. I initially chose April 18th, since USCIS received application on January 19th, and April 18th is the 90-day deadline. I am an FB2A Green card applicant. Here is my timeline so far:
October 2014: Applied for I-130
October 2015: I-130 approved
January 14th: Applied to I-485, I-765, I-131 jointly
January 19th: USCIS received all cases
January 27th: Receipts are produced and mailed
February 18th: Biometrics done
Since then I am waiting for the i-765 (EAD) approval, which is now 91 days since they received the application. I put two service requests last week. All the things in case status window are these records:
On April 14, 2016, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number **** ***MSC, was completed.
On April 14, 2016, we sent a response to your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number **** ***MSC
On April 14, 2016, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number **** ***MSC, was assigned to an officer for response.
I haven't received any e-mail, or mail yet. I keep postponing my job start day by talking to my new boss and the HR, but this cannot go on and on.
Any suggestions on my case?
